Down here in the Florida Keys, we are not over-supplied with options for kitchen re-model at a reasonable price for our modest vacation get-away home. When we traveled 35 miles to shop at the Lowes and Home Depot in Homestead, the least expensive stainless steel hood started at $120 plus 7.5% tax and went from there to over $200. Even then all choices were too large/deep for our application. When I found this one, it was the perfect size at a great price and arrived super fast. It is fairly well-made, reasonably quiet, and easy to install as it has four different options to do so. We are pleased with it and it looks great over our new stainless steel (scratch&dent sale) range. No complaints here, especially at the price offered.
