I waited for a month for my local home improvement store to get a range vent special ordered for me, and after they messed up the order twice, I looked here. I purchased this hood, which is a step-up and better quality, for the same price and it was delivered to my door step the next day! It really looks nice and works great. For regular stuff, the quiet, low vent setting works great. If I burn something, I then use the high setting which is louder. My only concern is that the halogen bulbs do get quite hot. So if you are going for energy-saving, I would put in the other type.
